About
About MergePDF
A free, privacy-first PDF merger — combine up to 20 PDFs into a single file in seconds, with zero sign-up.
Our mission
MergePDF exists to make PDF merging effortless. Whether you're bundling scanned documents, combining chapters into a single report, or stitching receipts together for an expense claim, the tool you reach for should be instant, respectful of your files, and free of surprises.
We believe PDF tools shouldn't require an account, push you toward a subscription, or keep a copy of your documents. That's the bar we measure ourselves against.
What we do
MergePDF combines multiple PDFs into a single file. Drop your PDFs in, drag them into the order you want, click merge, and download the result. Bookmarks, hyperlinks and metadata are preserved wherever possible so the combined file feels native, not pieced together.
Files are processed server-side through a single request, returned instantly, and discarded. Nothing is written to long-term storage, nothing is logged to a database, and nothing is tracked across requests.
What we stand for
Privacy first
Your images are processed in memory and deleted the moment the response leaves our server. We don't keep copies, we don't peek at content, we don't build a training set.
Genuinely free
No paywall, no trial, no credit card. The tool is free for individuals, professionals and hobbyists alike — today and tomorrow.
Respect for your time
No sign-up walls, no cookie banners for tracking consent we don't need, no pop-ups begging for email. Just the tool.
Production quality
We use the same encoders and settings professional teams use: production-grade encoders tuned for each format. The output is indistinguishable from a dedicated desktop tool.
Who builds this
MergePDF is built and maintained by a small, independent team. We run it because we use it — and because the web deserves small, sharp tools that don't try to be a platform.
